NIYOT Nail Polish

Calling all nail polish junkies!  If you love trying out polishes, here is a new brand that I feel that you will enjoy. I am going to let the press release tell you more, but can we just share a mutual shriek of excitement?!

Introducing Niyot Nails  - Back to Classics
Launched by designer and beauty expert Toyin Badiru in September
2011, Niyot is new 4-free premium nail polish range focused on classic colour.
Our main focus was to develop a 4 free range with quality of colours. A natural approach has been taken throughout the development of the line, and it is completely non-toxic and Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP and Parabens free with no testing on animals making it a truly safe and
organic range, made in the UK.
This range symbolises return to classic nail colour, launching in September 2011 with a range of classic reds. While bright colours and nail art is a trend for most we wanted our range to embody our brand ethos of clean classic nails. The initial 3 reds embody the hues we think every woman should have in her nail wardrobe, the Fire red (vibrant bright red), the Lost Red (classic but difficult to find pillar box red), and the CEO Blood (powerful vampy deep red). Classic sets of perfect hues of Pinks and Nudes will also be launched in sucession in the upcoming months.
Born out of a former nail technicians love for classic nails. Toyin's keen interest in beauty and fashion was nurtured at an early age with her work as a freelancer and in London's top salons leading to her work being featured in Vogue, Elle, Instyle and numerous other fashion titles as well as having an active role in fashion shows all before age 21.
After years spent working for beauty heavy weights Elizabeth Arden and later Estee Lauder, Toyin took a break from beauty, and upon completing studies at the prestigious Central St Martins in London, she
embarked upon her other love - fashion.
But it was not long before her passion for nails came calling her again with the idea to create a line full of classic nail color, that was both organic and ethically produced in the UK.
Her years spent in the industry meant that the highest importance was given to creating a line without the harmful toxins that can damage your nails and your health.
Orignally soft launched among friends and industry experts in Spring 2010 as Ekineda (pronounced Eki-Nay-Da), the range has been rebranded for its official launch as NIYOT. NIYOT is quite simply an anagram for TOYIN spelt backwards.

A selection of the most popular colours introduced in the Ekineda range will also be added to the range with plans to grow to over 30 colours by Spring 2012. Treatment bases, topcoats and a newly
developed non toxic nail polish remover are to be introduced in the upcoming months as we hope to grow the range full circle to provide products of premium nail colour and care. Our commitment is to
continue to inspire nail trends to people who value nail care as much as nail color and the initial streamlined product range still allows for new colours and additional treatments to be introduced at seasonal times.

Our UK based company will launch initially online on www.niyot.com with international shipping available, with plans to partner with department stores and retailers in UK, US and European markets by late 2011.

The website also features a blog with beauty features, behind the scenes news and and high fashion images of nails and beauty. Social media and our official YouTube channel will also have weekly vlogs giving tutorials and advice on nail care.

CEO Blood

Fire Red

Lost Red

These colors are gorgeous! I absolutely love wearing red on my toes, and I can totally see myself wearing each and every one of these shades.  I am so excited to see what other shades NIYOT creates. I also love how elegant and classic the packaging is.  I feel that CEO Blood will put the vamp in everyone who wears it. (Please cue the va va voom!) I think that with this Fall season, these shades will be perfect.
